Sale of Herbert Industrial

The Herbert Group is pleased to announce that with effect from Friday 20th August 2010, Herbert Industrial has been sold to David Anderson and will be known as Herbert Partnering Solutions Limited (Herbert PSL).
 
The planned sale of the Industrial division represents a step in the longer term strategic plan for the business and allows the Herbert Group to concentrate on the development of its successful businesses in Retail and Services & Solutions alongside expansion into the Healthcare sector.
 
The Herbert Group would like to take this opportunity to wish our former colleagues at Herbert Partnering Solutions continued success as they move forward in 2010 and beyond.

Herbert Group receives ISO22000 accreditation for slicer activity

The standard covers all aspects of food safety including equipment used in the food cycle (farm to fork).

Although many other companies are working towards the accreditation BSI say we are the first manufacturing company in the world to gain approval to this new International standard.

The accreditation involved many people from both Retail and Industrial and as a company we are very proud of this superb achievement.
